The Spanish River Community High School Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that facilitates raising funds (private donations, grants, corporate gifts) to enhance the educational experience for Spanish River students.

Founded in 2003, and granted a tax exempt status (Section 501 (c)(3)), the organization is dedicated to benefiting the students of Spanish River High School while complementing the efforts of the PTSA and SAC.

The Foundation's mission is as follows:
The Spanish River Community High School Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization, has one purpose: to raise revenue to supplement the public funding of education to enhance the climate of excellence for all Spanish River students. Founded in 2003 to overcome severe cuts in state funding for public education, the Foundation is committed to fostering a partnership that reaches out to all segments of the community for contributions and input on funding priorities at Spanish River Community High School.

The Foundation follows in the footsteps of hundreds of educational foundations that have been created throughout the country to supplement funding for public education. These organizations are present in communities much like Boca Raton including: Beverly Hills, California; Newton, Massachusetts; Port Washington, New York and Stamford, Connecticut. Right here in Palm Beach County, the School of the Arts Foundation has benefited the Alexander W. Dreyfoos, Jr. School of the Arts since 1993.
