About the Spanish River Community High School FoundationThe Spanish River Community High School Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that facilitates raising funds (private donations, grants, corporate gifts) to enhance the educational experience for Spanish River students. Founded in 2003, and granted a tax exempt status (Section 501 (c)(3)), the organization is dedicated to benefiting the students of Spanish River High School while complementing the efforts of the PTSA and SAC. The Foundation's mission is as follows: The Foundation follows in the footsteps of hundreds of educational foundations that have been created throughout the country to supplement funding for public education. These organizations are present in communities much like Boca Raton including: Beverly Hills, California; Newton, Massachusetts; Port Washington, New York and Stamford, Connecticut. Right here in Palm Beach County, the School of the Arts Foundation has benefited the Alexander W. Dreyfoos, Jr. School of the Arts since 1993. |
